I source the highest quality ingredients from a range of locations including Thrive Market, Mother's Market, Trader Joe's, Fullscript (online dispensary for some herbal ingredients), and my local farmer's market. When it comes to nuts, seeds and fruit, I only include the freshest ingredients that I taste-test and would consume myself.
While the product is not certified organic, 95% of ingredients I use are certified organic. The other 5% of ingredients may not have an organic certification but they are grown with organic methods (e.g. walnuts sourced from a local vendor at the farmer's market).
Each bite weighs approximately 20g and is slightly larger than the diameter of a quarter coin. Enough for two bites per Nourish Bite!
I do not currently provide nutritional information. If there is demand for this from customers, I may provide it in the future.
Yes! All Nourish Bites are fully gluten and dairy-free. Even the oats I use are certified gluten free.
Nourish Bites do not contain any refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. Most bites are naturally sweetened from dried fruit alone, while some contain minimal amounts of honey, pure maple syrup or date syrup to provide the perfect balance of flavor.
The only substitution that I can accommodate is swapping one sweetener type for another (e.g. maple or date syrup in place of honey). Customers with food allergies or sensitivities should refer to the full ingredients list of each bite on the home page of this website before ordering. If you have further questions about ingredients, please email me directly at nourishinglife.coaching@gmail.com
I use primarily paper packaging which varies according to the size of your order; food grade paper bags for orders of 4 or 8 bites, or a small box for orders of 12 or 16 bites. Larger boxes are available for orders of 20 or greater. I can also package bites in a glass mason jar for $4 surcharge which provides a beautiful gift option.
Nourish Bites should be kept refrigerated in an air tight container to retain shape, texture and freshness. They also freeze great if you'd like to save them for longer. Some bites are more enjoyable when they warm to room temperature. Consider taking them out of the refrigerator a few minutes before serving.
They will last in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for about 6 months if stored in an air-tight container.
Please first complete the order request form. I will then email you to verify your request and confirm a plan for pick-up or delivery. Your order is confirmed once payment is received after verifying these details.
I prefer to operate on a pick-up basis; either from my home or on UC Irvine campus. I can arrange delivery within a 15 mile radius from UCI for a flat fee of $3. If you live between 15 - 25 miles from UCI, I may be able to deliver your order for a flat fee of $10. I will confirm these details with you after receiving your order request form and before receiving payment.
No. My operation is small and I can only accommodate orders from customers who are available for pick-up or local delivery in the Orange County area.
Please refer to "Packaging and Pricing" section of the homepage for prices according to the size of each order. If you would like to place a bulk order, I recommend ordering in sets of 12 or 16 for best pricing.
Once we confirm details of your order request and delivery, I will confirm the total price and send you a request for electronic payment via your preferred method (Zelle, Venmo, Revolut). Your order will be filled after payment is received.
Orders will be filled 7 days after payment is received (or later if you do not require the Nourish Bites right away). If you would like to receive your order sooner than 7 days from time of payment, I will do my best to accommodate your needs but this will be discussed before confirming your order.
